Veneers
Veneers are a thin layer of porcelain which can be placed over the surface of front teeth to improve their appearance. They can be used to change the shape of teeth, to close small gaps between teeth, or to improve the look of badly damaged teeth. By using the most modern porcelain materials available, we can achieve a very natural looking result with the minimum of intervention.
One possible downside of veneers is that we may have to remove some of your natural tooth structure, to create room to place them. With advances in cosmetic dentistry, we will always explore all available options with you to help you achieve your desired result. Some of the less invasive methods we use in Malahide like cosmetic bonding, cosmetic braces or teeth whitening may be more appropriate for you, and we are happy to discuss all of these at your initial assessment.
